Three reasons why humans are gullible

This is a somewhat controversial topic, however, I think I should bring it up.

The reasons are fairly simple.

  1. You clicked on that link.
  2. You clicked on that link.
  3. You clicked on that link.

As my Internet experience goes, “$n$ reasons…”-style headlines are a promise that the article will be either of low quality, contain lots of flamebait, or both, and the publisher will get money for your clicks because the article will be for sure divided in at least three “pages”. So: no clicks for greedy publishers of low-quality content.
